  1. I know the answer is get fitted but I don't really have those resources. My buddy plays a 9.5 Adams Speedline w/Diamana blue 83 g4t stiff tipped 1inch and for me it finds the fairway everytime with a straight ball flight I can even hit little draws; unlike my current driver Cobra s9-1 pro 10.5 w/ stock stiff which i hit big fades with. I like the head shape of the 910D3 but which loft & stock shaft would play closer to my buddys driver I wouldn't mind even a little lower ball flight? I do play the 910F 15* w/ project X 8C4, so i like the heavier weighted shafts. Any help would be useful. I am not sure on my clubhead speed I was measured on the bridgestone ball fitting monitor at 113 but i heard those are off so it might be more like 103-105. Thanks Sorry for the long post.

IF you're going to buy another driver most good fitters do not charge a fitting fee if you buy from them - sooooo the club costs the same whether you buy off the rack ( please don't ever do that) or you get properly fitted outdoors, launch monitor.... and then buy from your fitter. Im sure you can find someone like that in your area. If not come to OKC!

  3. Thanks for the reply, but OKC is just a little bit out of the way considering I'm from CA lol. The closest fitter is within an hour from me and they are an advanced Titleist fitter in Goleta, CA but they charge 75$ for just a driver fitting. I am not sure that they put that 75$ towards the driver purchase, so i was hoping someone could tell me which stock shaft plays similar to the 83s diamana blue board.

According to the Titleist Custom Options brochure on the website, the Blue will perform similar the the Diamana Kai'li, which on their chart is in the same box as the Aldila Rip a 60. Here's a link: http://www.titleist.com/images/products/pdfs/2011_Titleist_Custom_Options.pdf Hope that helps. Bill

From my own experience having played a lot of the Diamana shafts in the past, I think the new ahinas play pretty close to the whiteboards but the kai'ili seemed a lot softer than blueboards. If you compare the rated shaft torques, you will see the kai'li has higher torques than a comparable blueboard on the Mitsubishi website. I used to play a BB 73g Stiff in my last driver. I did not like the RIP shaft at all. not even close to the feel of the Diamanas for me. As for the clubs, the D2 launches higher, but felt and sounded better to me. My last driver was a 9.5, but I went with an 8.5 in the D2 head with the ahina 72g Stiff shaft. Very forgiving, right trajectory for me, and I'm bombing it. I have it set in the B1 position which is true loft and open, to take away the snap hooks. The D3 launches lower and sounds more metallic at impact. I would have gone with the 9.5 and the ahina 72 S shaft in that head, but just preferred the D2 a little more, but that has to do more with persoanl preference. Hope this helps!
