Hi, I recently got the 910D2 with the RIP60 shaft and standard 7g weight. After some days @ the range and 2 rounds on the course, i found that I have a hard time squaring the club face at impact. I tend to open the club face=> A fade on a good shot and a slice on a bad shot. I never had this problem before with my 905T with NV65S shaft. I used to hit a little draw or straight.

Can anyone tell me if it's something related to the swing weight? and how can i fix the problem?

    Thanks

It's possible swingweight could be an issue assuming each driver is different. The RIP shaft is very different as well. Your local favorite Titleist pro should have a weight kit to experiment. I would also experiment with a setting change. What is the current setting?

My current setting is D2 and it's not helping at all.

Try c4 or b4 and let us know what happens!

i've tried these settings last night and no luck too. best result is still with D2 setting.

I found that i have been hitting the ball really solid and dead on the sweetspot, but just the fade/slice ruin the shots. I tried a slight stronger grip. it helped a little bit.

I've ordered the weight kit from my local titleist dealer and will see how adding weight to the clubhead work.

    Anything else i can try?

Definitely a different shaft, possibly shorter.  I think less than 1% of my fittings are upright so I'm afraid you are a very unique case!

Alright! My weight kit arrived and tried the 12g first then 9g. I can definitely feel the weight difference. 12g is a bit too heavy. 9g is just right! My ball flight now is a little higher than normal with my new favorite setting C4 but i'm fine with it as 910D2 tends to carry abit more.

Anyway things are going on the right track.

Thanks guys for all the help.

Lets try this again.  The removable weight in the head of the 910 D2 that is factory installed,  what gram weight is it?

I am planning on buying the weight kit but I need to know where I starting from with the weight screw that is currently

    in place.

    Hi Edward,

If you have a red dot on the weight, it is a 7 gram weight.  You should be able to verify this by unscrewing the weight, it has the weight on the bottom.

    Hope this helps,

    Cheers

    Ryan,

I have a D2 with the Project-X Tour Issue stock shaft and I recieved my weight kit today. I have my driver in the A2 position. What will the weights do? What am I looking for when Im swithching them in and out, just feel or is there more to it?

    Thanks

It certainly can enhance feel one way or another and your perception will possibly lead to better performance. RC
  15. I was experiencing the same type of issues, so yesterday went to titleist, I was using a 910D2 10.5 degree with the RIP 60 shaft and much to my surprise I came home with the 910 D2 8.5 degree with the RIP 70 shaft

The spin rate has been reduced by 1500 rpm, carry is up by 10 yards and runs out 20 yards longer but for me, more importantly its much much more consistent and even if I hit a bad one I am 100 % confident that because of technical info I got yesterday its now about me and not the club.

I was having the same issues with my 910F and again yesterday they dropped the club loft and fitted the club with a steel dyn gold S300 steel shaft.

    Good luck

Very nice!   Amazing what happens when you get fitted for the right gear!  RC
