I noticed your MB irons look almost like blades and the CB look a little similar, one key think I noticed that the CB look a little like half blades half cavity backs.  Would the be suggested  to a golfer that could not hit blades but wanted similar performance  to blades with just a little more forgiveness?

Christian, You are correct in your analysis. The CB's are more forgiving than the MB's. They are a great club for someone who wants the look of a blade but more forgiveness. Kevin
  3. Hi, I just put an order for a mixed set of 5-6 in 712 CB and 7-pw in 712 MB. I shafted them with new ns pro modus with flex r. I had previously used the original ap2 with ns pro 105 flex r (from a fitter). Loved it...most precise and smooth swinging combo I ever had. I wonder if the new modus set up with the mb/cb combo will suit me? I currently have epon 302 with ns pro wt flow 950 flex r. Your thoughts? I am a 10- 12handicap. With practice a 7-9 handicap.

The 735CB is (was) a blended set that combined the cavity backs and muscle back clubs just as you have put together. They stopped production of them when the AP irons were introduced. They are still considered by many to be one of the finest sets that Titleist has ever made.

I'm sure you'll enjoy many rounds of great golf with the set of irons that you've put together. Hopefully they can be the most precise and smooth swinging combo that you have ever had.
