  1. I currently rock a 8 degree TSi3 driver with a 45" 75X flex MCI AV White shaft... this thing is super stable but I think I might be leaving some speed on the table and might drop it to a 65X in the shame shaft... Usually good for carrying 285+ average....

Looking to fill the upper end of my bag in and need some advice:

    Option 1: 1. TSi2 3 wood @ 15 degrees 2. TSi2 5 wood @ 18 degrees 3. TS2 Hybrid @ 21 degrees ---- blending into my T100S 5 iron (good for 200yrds) bend a degree strong @24 degrees

    Option 2: 1. TSi2 4 wood @ 16.5 degrees 2. TSi2 7 wood @ 21 degrees 3. TS2 Hybrid @ 23 degrees ---- blending into my T100S 5 iron (good for 200yrds) bend a degree strong @24 degrees

I'm looking to attack more green and have the ball stop on a dime... I don't want my 3 wood to go too far either and compete with my driver. I hear that the TSi2 15 wood sits fairly lofted to the eye though so I definitely want something that's confidence inspiring most of all from the deck. That's also why I'm considering a 16.5.

Through the Surefit sleeve I'm sure I can modify the lofts to suit me perfect... just looking for some combination ideas.

Also, if you have any suggestions regarding the flexes and weights of the FW & HY shafts that would be great!

    Thanks!

  2. Have you considered the U500 or U510 driving irons? I personally have trouble with hybrids ballooning, and I don’t have your swing speed. As far as your fairway woods go, do you use it off the tee often or do you just use it on your second shot playing a par 5? Personally, I never hit fairway off a tee and only carry a 3 wood, because I only use it on long par 5’s when I have to give it all I’ve got.

I would be leaning toward option #1, but my final decisions would be made after a fitting and/or work with a launch monitor

  5. Option 1 is the same setup I have less the shaft. Excellent combination.

In the interest of Titleist, I think you should get both options. Then you can play double headers and switch back and forth and make a decision later. Seriously, I think if you're using an 8 degree driver you should go with #1. Too big a gap to go with the 16.5 degree 4 wood. A good fitter could really help out. Personally I ended up with a 10.5 TS2 driver, 15 degree TS2 3 wood, 19 degree TS2 hybrid, 22 degree U510 leading into my 718 AP1 5 iron. I'm in my mid 60's and my scores are not, so my swing has slowed down a bit, and I use regular flex on everything so I don't fall over trying to get the most out of my shafts, and that setup seems to work out pretty good. Judging by the clubs you already purchased, you can afford to find a Titleist fitter and try out each setup.

    Hi,
    I would be fit first.
but I would like to see numbers on a 4 wood at 16.5 and hybrid 21 degree.
After, you will see the gap you have between the hybrid and your longest iron (5 iron)
I try to buy the exact loft to avoid an open or close face of hybrid at address when changing loft.

Are you using a fairway wood on tee off?
Distance of a 3 wood vs 4 wood?

    Best regards,

Unless you use 3wood off the tee more than occasionally, I like option#2 for a couple reasons. First you seem to love your driver, regardless of whether or not you drop to a 65 gram shaft, so aside from hitting 3 wood second shot into par 5's, I don't think you'll actually us your 3wood that much.. Secondly the 16.5 fairway is more versatile than the 15 3wood, and I think you'll be surprised at how much distance you'll get out of that club.
  10. I went with option 1, but I landed there with a professional fitter. So, I support the masses on this recommendation.
  11. At the speed you are stating (285 carry) you really need to go to a specialty fitter. Changing the driver shaft weight from 75g to 65g might have unintended consequences in terms of your numbers.

You may consider testing the TSi 3- 16.5* vs TSi 2- 15* in terms of launch, spin & dispersion. Also test the U500 or U510 2 iron versus a 5 wood??? IMO you need to find a fitter that has many shaft options, including 90g shaft options for fairways to do a complete fitting
