    Hello,

I was fit for AMT Red S300 for my set of T300 irons. I am ordering 5-PW and then 3 SM8 Vokey Wedges. Would the Red be a good choice to put in the Vokeys or should I consider the AMT black in the 3 wedges? I take a lot of full shots with all 3 wedges and usually use my 60 degree for touch shots around green or bunker. I am used to playing wedge shafts slightly heavier. I have never used same shaft in my irons and wedges. Just curious for some insight. Thanks

Fortunately there isn't one best way. Using a heavier shaft is an option and you are used to it, I'm assuming your wedges will be something like 48-54-60 to work with your 43 PW? Is your 48 more of an extension of your irons or your first of your wedge feel? That will drive your decision on which wedges get which shaft.

Sounds like matching the shafts in the 2 stronger lofted Vokey to your T300s would make sense, and go with the stock shaft for the 60. There is a thread on this in the Vokey chat room about this where I give more details on what I do (based on advice from fitters and my golf teacher).
  4. Chris,

I'm curious as to what your thoughts are on the performance of the AMT Red S300s since you've gotten them and what parameters were used for helping you determine these were the proper fit?

Most of tour players go with lighter wedges. When I was fitted by Mr Vokey and his team at Pinehurst, that is how they set me up. Best thing to do is go for a Wedge fitting at a Titleist Thursday in your area.
