I was told today that when having your irons fiited, that if you have the lie changed then you can't alter the loft. I find it hard to believe especially as I've read on here that people have weakening and strengthening there lofts. Does it only apply to standard lie. What if like me my irons are 2deg flat, does it mean I can't have my lofts altered. Anyone else aware of this.

  2. Its not true, you can adjust both loft and lie. When I first bought my 716 AP2 irons, I custom ordered them 1 degree strong and 2 flat and Titleist had them set when they were built.

I think I’ve misinterpreted what was said.
Because I was thinking of having the lofts weakened by 2 degrees he would not be able to adjust them while I was being fitted only the lie. The lofts would obviously be done afterwards.
  4. The adjustable clubs that are used for fittings only change the lie angles, not lofts. Very doubtful that there would be delofted irons to demo. Good luck
