  1. Need help on shaft choice got fit and both master club fitters had me between a reg and stiff. I tend to hit the ball high with a lot of spin 4 Hdcp and carry my png i25 7!iron 149 and spinning 8100 with sc lite reg hard stepped once. Looking at ap3 in either a hard stepped amt black r or soft step the stiff or KBS lite. I hate a boardy feel but hunting better control and a few yards like wvwryone

I have been fitted several times the past 10 years. The last one was for a TS2 driver. Before the fitting, I had demo'd the T2 and TS3 with a few shafts and was pretty well set on the Hazardous Smoke 70g shaft. the fitter kept insisting on a 50 gram Kuro Kage. Tghat's what we went with and for me, it's uncontrollable. So, the 72 gram shaft from my previous driver went in and am hitting it more solid and 12/14 fairways.

To wit, fitters seem to have a certain bias to lighter shafts but there is a reason the "ultra light" clubs of the 1980's didn't stand the test of time and it's that distance is not the "end all". Knowing where it's going is the best way to play.
