I have been trying since the 909D3 came out to find a combo that will get my spin below 3000rpm. I finally found it. I have a 910D3 7.5 set to C1 that I have been using since FEB. I have tried 4 different shafts and got the spin down around 2600 with the Aldila XPP8. But I found that when I went at it hard it would still balloon. I happened to go to the local range and Graphite Design was doing free shaft fittings. After a few balls with my XPP8 they new the only shaft that would work for me was the P9003x. I hit 15 balls with it and Never had more the 2400rpms. The averages were 117CHS, 174.5 BS, 12.7 launch and 2215rpm, 297carry on the trackman. I found a used P9003x because $400 is a lot for me to spend on a club much less a shaft. So I have had this shaft for 4 months now and just thought I would share my story of what the proper shaft fitting can do.
