Getting fitted for 910 drivers

    i was wondering since i am getting fitted tomorrow; Wednesday, August 1st, I was wondering if I would have to wait to receive my driver (910d2, 910d3 and im testing the r11s but im leaning more towards the 910's) because my dad was recently fitted at the same place I am getting fitted; our local country club that we have connections with even though we dont belong, and he had to wait two weeks to receive his clubs. Granted they were irons and not drivers so i would think that the CC carries drivers, particulary the top ones more than irons (razr x black) and he is 6'5" so he had to order them in +1's.

    my main question here is will i have to wait to receive my club because i want to have it before i go away on vacation because my current driver is not working anymore for me and i dont want to use it any longer especially since i am going to get to play at my uncles country club in a member guest thingy and i want to play my best, which i do not believe i can do with my current driver and it is actually starting to tick me off.

    You can always go to a big box and buy off the rack.  Pretty much limits you to 9.5/10.5 and regular/stiff flex options.

    Otherwise, for $400, is it better to get it right the first time or just get close?  The turn-around time will depend on the fitting, would it be in stock, will Titleist have a special option item in stock, or will the components be on back-order to Titleist?

    If you have less than a week, then the right thing may not happen.

    Hi Andrew, Let us know how the fitting goes!  If we have all the components in stock, we can build the driver in about 2 days.  Depending on what part of the country you are in, you may have to air ship it to get it in time.

    hi all thank you for the replies but i was actually to buy it today at the local country club because they had many options in stock and i am very excited to put my new 910d2 in play!

    i am enjoying my new 910 d2 9*5 diamana kai'li 65g S on the A2 setting, it has brought by scores down to where i know this club is one i will grow into as i perfect my swing (only been playing since last august so 8/11, 4-now 2012 and i am playing like a 95ish on a good day a hundred on a bad day and about a 90 on a great day) i am hitting longer straighter drives and i can work the ball better than i did with my old driver
