  1. Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone can help I just about to swear, I currently have a  r9 supertri 10.5 regular motore shaft

hitting it far to high into the Scottish cold winds, so went along to my local pro and got fitted for a d2 9.5 degree diamana blue stiff

Shaft - I recently purchased a set of TM MC's with s300 shafts and controlling the flight lovely. The 910

Though looks great and I had a 975 - 983 - and 905r years ago before switching to r7-r9 as felt Titleist were just too good for me

But getting down from 8 - 5 in last few years feel I can have another bash, anyway getting to the point my bad shot into wind is high

Pretty straight but far to high if I slow down swing a flatten out it heads off to left what settings would you suggest to keep the ball

Down into the wind a c2 or b2 perhaps looking for penetrating flight and keep it from leaking right. Also if I can achieve this do you think I'd lose a lot of distance downwind or on the 2 calm days you get per year in sunny Scotland???

Any advice would be much appreciated, Phil

  2. I suggest the C-2 setting because u can keep it low on windy days and also have a little dram for extra distance. I have mine set to that right now and I find if I have to get it up there when you are down wind, it's doable,

    Phil,

It sounds like you want to protect against the ball leaking right on you, as well as keep the trajectory down.  In this case, the C-2 or D-2 setting will help you control that.  The upright lie and lower loft will protect against anything right and high.  I would take those settings to your Club Fitter and see what he has to say about how this reacts to your current ball flight.
