Butt Cutting GD AD DI in a 910 D3

    Hey,

    I have a Titleist 910 D3 with a GD AD DI 8X. The shaft is a 1/2" longer than the RIP 60 gram that I was playing. If I want to butt cut the GD 1/2" - 1", how much weight will need to be added to the head in order to achieve standard swing weight? Will the 12 gram head weight offset the shortening of the shaft?

    Josh, 

    If you cut 1/2-1" off the GD, then you will need to add the 12g screw.  This will get you D0-D3 depending upon how much you decide to take off.
