    Hi,

    I'm currently playing a 910 D2 9.5 set to 8.75,standart lie. I play a draw to strong draw with a club head speed of 100 mp/h.

I have the real ahina' 60 stiff and I want a shaft which is more stable and a bit lower launch.

Is the Tour AD DI 6 to whippy and high launch?

I don't swing quite as fast as you do (I'm in the mid-90's), but I hit those two shafts side-by-side recently and found the AD-DI to be stiffer and lower launch. In fact, the Ahina was a good fit for me but the AD-DI stiff was a little too stiff.

  4. Bob, can I give you some advice, picking a 910 D2 or D3 is not club fitting and then start playing with settings, there are a number of other factors to look at, I have a SS of 108 to 114 and used the same shaft with the D2 head, I was all over the place with my drives, very high as well as a very big draw, I changes to the PX 6.0 and saw some improvement and tried all the settings that would cut the draw out and lower the ball flight, limited success. I then went to see a club fitter who evaluated the shaft and measured the loft on the driver after I hit about 20 shots on their flightscope. the shaft real flex was softer than 6.0, the spine alignement of the shaft was on 4 setting, the measured loft of the driver was between 12.1 and 10.9 in the different settings. I then went to exchange the head and found a D3 8.5 that we could get to 9.6 as the lowest loft position on that head, I replaced the shaft with a custom fit ACCRA Dymatch 2 X flex and fixed the setting om B1 with the shaft spine alligned on no 1 setting. I now have a driver that is consistant and I can both draw and hit a slight fade. I love the D3 head. my GIR has gone from 48 to 78%. my point, even with all the options and settings, get fitted.
