When I was fit for my new AP2s, we determined that I needed the clubs 2deg upright.  Are there any issues with having the clubs re-bent?  I am thinking the clubs need to be adjusted to be a little flatter.  Thanks.

    Cris,

Ap2's can be re-bent. Find someone you trust to bend them.

    Good luck,

I have some AP-1 that I bought (before being fitted)

It was determined I need them 4 degrees upright

Can these Irons be bent that much ?

  4. Hey Guys,

I have the 710 AP2's they're 2 degees flat.  I just recently went to my club pro who also fits clubs to have my lie and loft's tested.  I was there when he corrected the lie and lofts and boy where they soft (easy to bend).  He did over shoot the first few clubs at first because how soft they are.  The 4 degree's should be ok based on how soft these forged irons are.  Cast iron's do have a max bend levels, but the ap2 and ap1's should be fine.  You'll be safe to take it to any club fitter, or even ask your club pro if he can do it for you too.

another note, I played with the irons for ~3/4 a season and they were off by as much as 1.5-2 degree's in some of the irons, so i would highly recommend having your lie and loft's checked regularly!

    Jay
