Got fit with the Trackman system that put me in a 910  D3 8.5 driver with stiff Bassara 50.   It is definitely 10 yards longer than my old FT3 9.5 Pro Series Driver with stiff Aldila NVS, but I hit at least 4 horrible drives a round with the 910 either slice right or snap hook.  Feels like I cannot square the club face.  I have tried every face adjustment possible and nothing works.  Is there any other shaft I should try or try a new driver?

  2. The shaft might be too light, but the lower loft may also hurt your dispersion. Try a similar launch shaft, but in the 60-70 gram range if possible.

My friend had the same problem, he has 1 handicap and was hitting his 9* to high so he got a 7.5* but he it was really difficult for him to hit it with a square face due that less loft. My pro told me that is more difficult to square the face with less loft. Hope it helps :)

It depends on a lot of things... can you handle a heavier shaft?if the anser is yes, i think you would benefit from a heavier shaft with a medium torque.Do you want to hit the ball high( i guess he does- Bassara 50 and Aldila NVS before)

In MY opinion there is no point in hitting an 8,5º driver if you have to use a Bassara 50 Shaft.

The spin you kill with the 8,5º, the Bassara 50 will immediatly compensate that...but the again, what trajectory do you want?

The shaft is way to light, so it will result in poor accuracy.

Assuming you want to hit it high, try the Ilima 60 in a C3 position.

Assuming you want to hit it low, try the real BlueBoard in the same C3 position.

    Best Regards
