    I'm looking at purchasing a set of Iron as a gift. Getting the person fitted is not an option as it wouldn't be a suprise. Person is currently a 9-10 handicap. Considering the AP2 type. what would you suggest?

    Many avid golfers are quite particular about their equipment irrespective of their ability. Personal preference plays a significant role, as does fitting. How about a voucher to the value of AP2's? Personally I gain a lot of confidence from clubs that I like and have been fitted for me.

    i would suggest the ap2 type.

    Why Not surprise them by taking them to get fitted. Be horrible to spend 1000 dollars on something they might not like or might not fit them
