Hi, I currently have som problems with leaving the clubface open at impact giving me these high fades. On holes where i can't go left i tend to either close my clubface to soon or end up with a pull fade/slice. At the moment i play it in the Standard D4 setting and was wondering how the loft changes based on the lie angle. If i have the club in D4 compared to say a C3. would the C3 give me about the same loft as D4 just with a more closed face? or will the change of lie angle create a more lofted club, if so.. how much? :) I'm not so concerned about having too much loft since i dont create that much loft from my swing. So what i would like is a setting that squares out my face and still gives me about the same loft as standard.

The only way you would hit a high fade (which is actually a good ball flight)  with the face open at impact is if you coming in straight or from the outside. If you come from the inside with the face a tad open then the ball will draw instead of fade. Try it before you change the setting. COME FROM THE INSIDE>

Maybe setting the club more upright will help facilitate more of a draw. Moving closer to the ball wouldn't hurt either. Go grab and bag of range balls and your Titliest SureFit Wrench Kit and make a day of it.

The greatest thing about the SureFit hosel is that loft adjustments and be made independent of lie angle. A move from D4 to C3 maintains .75 extra loft, but changes lie angle .75 up. Standard loft is A1. Depending upon your attack angle, a move to A-2 (Standard loft 1.5 Up) may help produce better golf shots. RC

I think you mentioned you were a sinister golfer like myself.  So D4 is the normal setting.  C3 will increase upright .75 degree w/o changing loft.  D3 will make a total of +1.5 degree upright (more draw) than standard.  A1 and D1 will increase loft with no change to lie.  The chart is available on this site under Golf Clubs from the 910D/F/H pages.  I've had any number of fitters that (usually) catch themselves with A1 being the standard loft/lie for right handers.

Don.. you are completely right! I did not pay attention to that little LH detail. My mistake.
