I've been playing the DCI 990's since bought them in highschool. I love these clubs and love the crisp solid feel at the point of contact. The muscle back is great for working the ball when I want to as well. I really feel like I want a blade for at least a 7 iron and down, possibly all the way up to the 3 if I can still get the ball flight that I want. My thought is going with a combo of the MB and CB irons that are out now. Just wanted to get some feedback from people playing those clubs and see what they think. I am going to get fit for this next set so I will be listening to what the fitter says about what would work best for me but I wanted to hear what you guys had to say about these clubs.

    Thanks,

  2. I went from hitting the 962's to the 710 ap2's.   I plan on hitting these just for just as long.  The 962's sure were a great club and really durable.  The only complaint would be getting a jumper on short irons.  The ap2 is amazing.  I have them with the x-100's and the shaft does make a difference.  I tried and still have the 690 mb's with s300 shafts.  They look great but the ap2's are perfect for someone who does not play everday.

I wanted to go with MB/CB combo but the MB's are EXTREMELY unforgiving. They are for like 5 handicap or lower unless your like a 20 with the best ball striking and the worst putting. Just go with the CB's or AP2's they offer forgiveness and extreme workability. I just got the CB's 5-9 and they are AWESOME!!! try them!!
