    people that own 910 woods and drivers, stock from titleist, with setting a1, where does it align too, along the bottom of shaft or on top? im trying to put a sleeve on my shaft if i align the a1 along the graphics and grip of shaft, when the head is on the club sits with the logo of shaftband grp on the bottom, if i align c3 to it then it sits fine. just wonderingbstock comingbfrom titleist in the a1 setting how does it sit..

    From Titleist, unless special ordered, the shaft and grip graphics are down.

    This is because back in '98-'99 some club builder put the shaft and grip upside down than told his customers "this is how better players like it" and then that spread around.

    Its best if you don't listen to people that say things like "this is how better players like it" and get it how you want it.

    Now the good thing about the standard way Titleist puts them together.........if you order a set of irons with the grip right side up instead of upside down, you get irons with the serial number on each iron, but if you order standard(grip unside down) you get a set with the serial number only on the 6i.
