    Team,

I was wondering about the practicality of strengthening the lofts of my 695mb's by one club each.  I understand that would affect bounce angle, but as a picker I don't really mind.  First off, could the irons handle such a bend?  Second, where should I take them?  Third, is there something I am not thinking of which makes this idea a huge mistake?

    Many thanks,

    Tim

    Hi Tim,

I just had my 695CB strengthened by 2 degrees by Titleist for $9.00 a club.  You need to take them to any authorized Titleist dealer and get a RA number.  I'd suggest looking up what the original lofts were and specify on your order form what you want them to end up being.  They can also adjust the lie while your at it for that 9 bucks a club.

Hit them a few times and the flight is much better.  I never had a problem getting the ball in the air and ball flight was more important to me.

    Hope it helps,

    Jason

Just take them to your locale golf store. Call around to a few and check the prices, It is very easy to do if you have the equipment.

No offense but you do not need to send them to Titleist.
