712 MB swingweight

    I am going to purchase a set of 712 MB with soft stepped dynamic gold x-100 at +1/2." What should I expect to see for swingweight with these specs?

     In the past, I have liked my irons at d-4. Is it possible/beneficial to have built to this range?

    We can build the 712 MB's with X100 at 1/2" over and standard grip at a D4 swingweight, but you should have your pro specify that on your order.

    Thank you for the reply Cathie. As for SM4 54/60*, built with S-400 at +1/2, can those be made to D-6?

    The starting swingweight for a 54/60 Vokey is D5.  The best they could do would be D7.  You should make the request for D6 when you place your order - even though they cannot reach that swingweight, we have a 1 swingweight tolerance on requested swingweights so they will build at D7 (which is the lowest swingweight they can achieve).
