    If I tip this .5 inches will it lower spin or torque ? I generally play my shafts at 44.5 inches. I was fitted at Edwin watts on their monitor and my spin was at 3000 but recently check at central Arkansas golf academy and spin was at 3400. My shot has been getting no roll.

    Josh, 

    If you tip any shaft, you will lower the spin and launch slightly.  This will firm up the tip section of the shaft and can change the feel as well.  Depending upon how fast your ball speed/club head speed was, you will want to get your spin down into the 2000 RPM's.  This will help give you more roll and more of a penetrating ball flight.
