Yes, the swing weight is adjusted according to the shaft length. It does not affect the kick point or stiffness.

Great! I always wondered this...could someone give me an overview of kickpoint low, mid, mid/high, high what the impact or feel is on the playability of a shaft?

Please keep in mind that we are limited to the 12 gram weight so the swingweight that we are able to achieve will depend on the balance point of the shaft (low, mid or counter balanced). You can also affect swingweight by changing the grip. The newer light weight grips will add swingweight to your club and decrease overall weight.
