How much will tipping a kai'li 65 1" effect the stiffness of the shaft on a 910 D2

    I would like to purchase a new 910 D2 with  the stock stiff Kai'li 65 shaft. My average swing speed is 104-108 I am looking to lower the launch angle a bit but not as low as the Ahina shaft. My question is will it drastically change the stiffness of the club if  I order it tipped 1"

    1) It will not noticeably change the stiffness of the club by butt trimming.  2) the shaft will not have a measureable affect on the launch angle. ALWAYS REMEMBER THIS  -- The head ( loft, face angel, hosel setting....) will ALWAYS affect the ball flight more than the shaft.

    Jay,

    Tipping the shaft 1" will lower your flight but not drastically. You might want to try the Project X shaft.
