Thanks for the great explanation - the magnet on the clubface really amplifies your point.  Well done!

GREAT instructional video.  Never realized that the loft of the club made trhat much difference in the amount of curvature for a side hill lie.  Always assumed the length of the club was the major factor.  Thanks for enlightening me.

What a good weekend.  Played 18 holes Friday morning at a local course in NH called Breakfast Hill.  They were nice to let me out solo before everyone else and was able to get in a round under 2 and 1/2 hours.  Of course I rode.  Then later on in the day…

Hole #5 at The Bridges in San Ramon,CA. 187 yard par 3. Hit a five iron fifteen feet short of the hole and it took the break toward the hole and disappeared. First hole in one in over 33 years of playing golf!!!

    Hi Greg,

From my experience, new V1 ball tends to make lower ball flight. The launch angle will be affected by loft, attack angle, and ball impact location. You may check those elements of your swing.

    Good luck Greg!

This was my first Hole-in One. I got to share this great accomplishment with my Father-In Law. The very next hole was a Par with the same Hole-In One ball. Pro V1's are great.

I was playing a round on my home course at the Peninsula Golf Club in Gulf Shores Alabama on 07-25-2014,
I used a 7 iron on Cypress hole 3, a par 3 and hit a hole in one using a Titleist Pro V.
Finally, a hole in one after 55 years of golf!

Trackman data suggest at your swing/ball speed that you would be optimized at 12* launch and 2500 spin, while maintaining your angle of descent(below 40*). I don't know if a simple shaft change alone will get you to those numbers, you could try to increase…
