Just got my new custom fitted AP2 irons today. They are like a hot knife through butter.Very smooth, easy to hit and forgiving while still providing great workability. This is one sexy club!
I can tell you I lost 7-10 yards switching from AP2 710's to AP2 712's - unless, I absolutely hit the 712's on the screws. I returned the 712's for a refund and went back to my 710's.
It would be great to also get side views in addtition to the rear view.

Tipping the shaft 1/2 inch would make it similar to "real" Ahina and keep shaft true to flex.
The milling and grip are very different too. The grip is easy to change, but deep milling in the 2012 will feel way different than the older SSL model. Roll them both and see what you like. Most decent shops will still have some older SSLs on the shelves…
