After 40+ years of golf. . . On 9/6/2024, I hit my first ever hole in one on #16 at Black Sheep Golf Club in Sugar Grove, IL. It was playing 152 yards into a strong wind, and I hit my Titleist ProV1x with my 7 iron!
Well struck shot. Used the contour of the green so that the ball fed down into the hole.
My second hole in one. Did not see ball go into cup. There is a burn in front of the green. Thought ball rolled off green when we did not see it. Last thing we did was look in the cup. There it was.
