• First one!

    Went out with my buddies for a quick 9. Nice weather, cool breeze, and then hit a hole in one on the 7th at Lionheart Golf Club in Avon CT. Off to the clubhouse to buy some drinks!

  • 1st hole in one

    Been playing for almost 2 years. Hole 3 got my first hole in one. Par 3 174 yards. Using a 7 iron and a Titleist 2 TruFeel.

  • Hole-in-one

    Playing in a Sadie Hawkins tournament, distance was in between clubs, and hit a partial shot landed right in front of the hole about 10 feet and rolled straight in for my 9tj hole-in-one.

    As mentioned, getting a ball fitting is best. Short of that, suggest trying a sleeve of a couple of Titleist balls to determine what feels best. The ‘best’ ball will be the one you’re most confident playing.

    I'm also 70 y.o. and switched to graphite Tensei AV Blue AM2 a year and a half ago. Always regretted it as I never cared for the feel of graphite iron shafts. Recently switched back to steel AMT Red R300 shafts and am very happy with the change.

    Was an absolute great experience and Tot Hill Farms Golf Club was a very appealing Golf Course to play. It was a tough course, but well worth the visual stimulation that this course brings to you.
