Got my pro to take 3/4 off the butt, length is 44 3/4. I put some face tape on to test at the range - dead center;)
Hit a few drives much longer than normal today - 15 yards longer. Club feels much more solid and compact.
Did not get the swing weight…
Wednesday, 11/30/11, started out as a continuation of the day before – ugly. Things improved on the back 9 and on #12 through # 18 (especially #16!) the swing felt great. The hole-in-one came on the 155 yard 16th hole of the Grand Club’s Pine Course…

I'd add a 64* wedge when I miss the green on the "shortside" of the pin.
In a tournament I was able to hit my 909 3 metal from 265yds out to withing 4 feet on a par 5 for an eagle. Sweet shot. I feel my best shot of the year.

Please be aware that because of the head weight of wedges compared to regular irons, most shafts in wedges are slightly stiffer than in your irons. Something to keep in mind if you find the 5.5 shafts don't feel right. Although in the gap wedge it probably…
