I just got my first hole-in-one at 58 years old. Been playing this game since I was 9 and when I was 12, I put it 1 inch on the backside of the cup with the ball trail left in the early morning dew as evidence that I had lipped out. Thought this was easy and figured one would happen sometime in the near future. Took me 46 years more for an improvement on that shot. What a feeling it is to see that little white dot disappear from the middle of the green as it drops into the hole!
