On a hot streak

My son Connor and I were finishing the front nine at Zebulon Country Club in Zebulon, NC. On the 117yd par three ninth I used a 52 degree Titleist Vokey wedge. I knew when it left the club face that I had struck it well. The ball landed about three feet from the pin and spun to a near stop before falling in the cup. I could not really believe it and asked my son if it went off the back of the green or in the hole. He confirmed that it went in the hole. All the guys at the club house witnessed the ace. It only took me 26 years of playing golf to get the first ace. I hope it doesn't take that long for the second one. The best thing of all was sharing the experience with my 16 year son. (and getting an ace before he did)
