My name is Jeff Punches. I have been playing golf for about 40 years and have never had a hole in one.
It was a beautiful 80 degree day in Paso Robles, Ca when I went out for my weekly skins game. I was playing pretty well and made par on the first 3 holes. We had a little wait on hole 4 which is a 155 yard par 3. I was second to hit and we were playing "greenies" so I wanted to hit it close. When I struck the shot it was pure and I even said "go in the hole" when I hit it. From the tee we could not see the bottom of the flag so we did not see it go in. As I was walking to the green I could not see my ball so I "peeked" in the hole and there it was! The hardest part was the next tee shot and trying to finish my round. I ended up shooting a 1 over 71 that day and ended up with a $200 bar tab. What a day!
