While attending a pharmaceutical wholesale conference for SMITH DRUG, which is held annually the Monday following the Hertiage Golf tournament in Hilton Head, SC, I holed my first Hole in One on #7 at Harbour Town Golf Link, using a Titleist Pro VI. According to our caddie the pin placement was the same as Saturday's play of the Heritage the previous weekend. The distance was 158 yards on the card but the pin placement was front center making for a 129 yard shot. My ball hit the green about three feet in front and slightly left of the hole. The ball rolled striking the pin and dropped in the hole. Our caddie indicated had I participated in the Heritage Pro-Am the week before I would have own a new BMW on that hole. Oh well, I did receive $100 voucher good in the proshop for our tournaments "Closest to the Hole". Best of all my name will go on the "Hole In One" wall plaque as you enter the proshop at Harbour Town!
