I am a freshman collegiate golfer for Nebraska Wesleyan University. On April 26th, the team was in Dakota Dunes, SD playing Two Rivers Golf Club for our third and fourth round conference qualifiers. On the second round of the day I walk up to the 15th tee and see my coach. Yardage 153. Club of choice Titleist AP1 7i. I hit a great shot heading in the middle of the green but then fading over to the pin. It landed closely, pin high. As it starts to roll towards the pin my coach yells GO IN... and sure enough it did. It was like time had stopped as I watched my ball disappear into the hole. I was overwhelmed with joy and thought I was going to cry I was so excited. It made it so special that my coach got to witness the shot and give me a hug after. Im happy to say Ive gotten a hole in one and the young age of 18.
