Playing in US Kids Local Tour event at Nansemond River Golf Club in Suffolk, VA... a course I had never seen before. Ralph had won last week's event and I had tied for second, so I was pretty happy to be paired with him today. They had the 12-year-olds play from the senior tees so we had 127 to the hole with a slight breeze in our face. I had been hitting a little cut that morning on the driving range and this looked like the perfect shape for this shot. It went up just as I hoped it would, hit the green a little short and left of the hole, took one good bounce and spun right into the hole. I was really happy, but since we were the first group out, there weren't too many folks around to celebrate with... just my dad and Ralph.
