A Shot to Remember at PGA Golf Club on The Dye Course

I am from Chicago and was down at my Grandma's house in Florida for Spring Break. I have been playing competitive golf for almost 2 years now. I went to golf domes quite a bit back in Illinois during the painful winter months. I was just itching to get out to play and be in the warm weather. We played 18 holes on The Ryder Course at the PGA Golf Club in Port Saint Lucie. We finished our round just in time to play another 18. My Dad didn't want to play, but I dragged him and my Mom out to play another 18 on The Dye Course. All three of us were reluctant to go back out. We started out shaky and seemed to be tired. We almost went in after the 5th hole. We came up to the 6th hole. It was 155 yards and into the wind. I reached for my 9 iron, paused, and almost took out my 8 iron. I hit a baby draw, and it was well struck. Somehow I knew right when I hit it that it was going in. It stuck right next to the hole, took one bounce, and spun back into the hole for an ace. It was truly a memorable moment and one that I will forever cherish.
