My PW is 46, then i play SM10 50, 54 and 58. It gives me good distance gapping and with the right grinds (54 08M and 58 04T) i can play a variety of shots around the green.
I carried 50* loft up until 2020 (50-08F). www.titleist.com/.../kodgzpedvh3jtx1llgmlwww.titleist.com/.../gamvkw5akqn0kjkvuogd

RE: Ideal gapping

How did you get a 44?

RE: Ideal gapping

56 best option

RE: Ideal gapping

Partial wedge shots are difficult to control even for the best players in the world. Most players benefit from carrying four wedges, which leads to tighter distance gaps and more full swings. Vokey recommends 4° - 6° of loft separation between your wedges, resulting in 10-15 yards

RE: Ideal gapping

So I thought for 58-12D. I threw a couple balls in 8" of grass and the 56-14F cut through it like a sickle. The 58-12D did OK but not quite as consistent. I returned the D grind and got a 52-12D (that I set to 50) to tighten things up a little bit.. 46-50-54-60-64. I set the lie angle of the 52-12F to 65. Properly "gaped" (sic). On one course, 50* loft works well.

RE: Ideal gapping

44-48-54-58 is the loft for wedges i play

RE: Ideal gapping

46-54-60-64 58-12D for fluffy bunkers
