As shown in the thumbnail, 44-50-54-58-64. I replaced the 60-14K with a 58-04L. Had a shootout between the 56-08M shown and a 56-14F (both bent 2* strong). Pretty close except when it comes to cut and flop shots. The M grind wins out. If you eyeball them, the M grind's leading edge has the same bounce as the F grind. The L grind won out on flop shots over K grind. The advertised bounces can be deceiving.

That is what I thought, until I met Bob Vokey and his team at Pinehurst in the spring....I was playing S300 irons and wedges and he told me I needed R300 wedges, so based on his knowledge of wedges I made the change. My vokey wedge shaft is lighter that the shafts in my irons.........has made big difference.....I can now count on it....

These are all the wedges I have available. I'm using the 46-10 as a 9 iron with the loft bent to 44*. The 58-08M is bent to 57 for a minimalist setup (44-50-57-64). If one were to bend the 50-08 to 48, the 54-10S to 52 and the 58-08M to 56, VOILA! "Traditional" spacing plus a 64.

I also find the 60-14K easier for fairway shots than a D grind bent 2* strong.www.titleist.com/.../wakzb7xjpnujemidueld

I've stumbled into an oddball setup lately. My 718 AP2 set goes all the way up through the "P" (46 degree) and "50" (gap) wedges. So I use three Vokey real wedges after that.

But my current setup is a 54.14F (bent strong to 53.13F) then a 58.04L (bent weak to 59.05L) and a 60.12D at stock loft. It's weird having that six-degree gap between the 53 and 59 then almost identical lofts with two lob wedges.

But the L-grind and D-grind could not play more differently. So there's no overlap really. The D-grind is for full swings or for pitching the ball off good lies. The L-grind is for bunker shots and for hitting the ball out of thick lies in the rough or hardpan lies. I just can't get the sort of results out of the bunker with the 60.12D that I can with the 59.05L and I can't trust the L-grind not to dig on full swings.

The 53.13F is good for longer bunker shots and is great on full swings from fairway or rough. My preferred layup distance is about 75 yards, I open the face slightly on the 53-degree then make a full swing. Nice trajectory, plenty of spin, very repeatable distance.

Really no need for another full-swing club between the 53 and the 60 although most people might feel otherwise. I'm a short hitter for full swing with the 53 is about 85 yards and full swing with the 60 is about 70 yards, not really much of a gap for a 7-degree loft increment.

Upgraded my irons this fall and purchased the new T300s. I opted to go with the wedges that came with the set based on the recommendation of my Titleist fitter. My current set up is PW - 43*, W - 48*, W2 - 53* plus a Vokey SM7 58.12D. Now I am hitting all the wedges full. Turned 73 and finally went to regular shafts and right choice. Much easier to hit and control. 716s in man cave gathering dust....

(Regarding my previous comment regarding tournament play I got the right shaft for my fairway and put it back in my bag. I now carry only two hybrids and my driver is dialed in at 11.25*.......playing from senior or regular tees this set up works, if I manage my distances correctly.)

4 degree gapping from 6i - 58.

The 58/10 is a new addition, I feel it's more suited to the more solid lies we find in summer whilst the 58/12 is for winter.

I used to go up to a 62 lob but removed it to add a hybrid 21.

...becoming more difficult but still able to spin- groves are wearing. Stopping power on firm greens are much lesser. The SM4 are pretty much shot.

I have a 46 that I bent to 47, a 50.08 bent to 51, a 56.10 bent to 55 and a 60.04 bent to 59, all are in the Tour Chrome finish.

On reflection I am starting to find I'm missing an important distance because my ap1 PW is strong compared to my old irons.

I'm finding I am hitting over a lot of greens because of this issue.

I've found a solution which is a 48 SM7 AMT black S300 but I am still waiting for it to arrive.

Really can't wait. It will be my first SM7 and if my old sm4 and sm5 were anything to go by I'm in for a treat.
