2 - The premium material is the answer for me because other bags could look great out of the box and then after some use on the course in all weather conditions become a huge letdown .

Wow where to start, the wait is finally over, the GTS is here!

On Thursday I was very lucky to get my GTS driver and 3 wood fitting at Craigielaw Titleist Scotland with Graeme Noblett. If you haven’t been, it really is a must for any Titleist enthusiast/ player or gamer. Big G goes above and beyond giving you the best experience and helping you get the most out of your time there with all the Titleist clubs.

Big G starts with what do you know about GTS?? I say I’ve watched a few videos and clips from the Titleist page/forum. He pulls out a metal box, opens it up and shows me the new GTS in two half’s, we then talk about the changes from GT and what R&D have done to make the GTS, how they have changed design, materials and new upgraded specs, split mass, speed sync face and duel weights, etc. It’s all very technical and interesting.

Next up was hitting a few shots with my current GT2 driver set up after a good warm up. Couple of good shots, couple of not so good shots, but more than enough to get a good base to start. So first up we start with the GTS4 same set up as my GT2 on my current Hzrdus black x stiff shaft. 10 shots or so and results are in, no real improvement over my current set up. Big G then changes the head over to GTS3. Same again 10 shots or so and we have enough to compare data. GTS3 was slightly better but still not good enough to consider swapping/ upgrading. Then Big G says it’s time for the main event haha He swaps the GTS2 head on and gives me the club back, after a couple of shots, I start seeing even more improvement, further and tighter dispersion. Big G takes the club back again and start tweaking / changing stuff, not telling me what yet. I hit a few more shots and wow, I’m seeing faster ball speed swing speed, higher ball flight, less spin numbers, everything working and helping my swing. Once again Big G makes another wee change to the club and hand me it back. Once again I hit a few more balls and wow I’m blown away with the shots! Big G says I’ve been fitting you for a number of years Douglas and I can safely say this is the best I’ve seen you hit driver! I speechless nod my head laugh and say this is coming home with me now lol

We then go through the whole process again with the 3 wood and get the same results. Safe to say R&D Titleist have went above and beyond and delivered an unbelievable club ready for all golfers to produce big bombs! Hope everyone has an amazing time/ fitting as well. Forgot to mention the T250u 2 iron with Blue VeloCore+ 9S shaft.
Also ive just changed my project x lz shafts and replaced them with Fujikura Axiom 105S shafts.

England Golf / Ladies European Tour Access Series Pro Am

We are looking for three female Team Titleist members to represent us at the England Golf / LET Access Series Pro-Am on 7th July 2026.

This event will be held at:
The Manchester Golf Club
Middleton
M24 6QP

The lucky participants will play with a Ladies European Tour Access Series player in their team and will be hosted by a Titleist staff member.

Successful golfers will be selected and notified by the 19th of June.

Please note: you will need to make your own travel arrangements to Manchester Golf Club for 9:00am registration on the day.

Is there anything comparable with the cally apex uw. Would the gt 1 hybrid be closest or is there something similar due to be released.

I would suggest to get fit for one, I had a driver fitting last year and never had a hybrid until the fitter suggested a Gt3. The reasoning was the Gt3 is based on an iron style and I love it.

Hi all fellow TT enthusiasts After a recent trip to Northern Ireland I now proudly display my favourite 3 courses I have played as head overs on my bag I used to collect course planners but they are a thing of the past now with all the sat nav's and course plans on your phone now, I was just wondering what collectibles everyone else gets when they visit new course they go to

I’ve never been one for collecting things apart from pencil for the card which I loose do like the idea of markers though might get that started!
