Hole in one

Hi all. I started golfing around 2 year ago and recently made my first ever hole in one at my course. I seen online that titlest commemorate this with a cool bants but the link to the form doesn’t seem to be working. Can anyone help? Is there a direct email I could contact? Would love to have one of the bag tags to mark the achievement!

Just back from Friday at The Open after getting lucky in the Titleist ticket draw. Was the 550 mile round trip worth it?

My first time at The Open and it is definitely above the other events I've been to in the past. It took longer than expected to get from the M6 to the Park & Ride and onto the course, but once on the grounds at around 10 am it was time to explore.

Past the famous clubhouse and up to the range just in time to get a picture of the worlds No1 and No2 (I'm sure you can work it out from the picture). Then onto the main Spectator Village before finding a spot by 11th green to watch some of the groups come through.

Some great birdies on the 11th from Titleist staffers including Billy Horschel and Cam Young along with some of the Brits, Penge and Fitzy. Ludvig's army were in attendance, with blue and yellow wigs and another chance to wear their football shirts again after the World Cup.

After watching the morning groups finish on 18 we tried to get near the Scheffler/Bryson, and Fleetwood groups but the majority of spectators were around them so some distant views.

Massive thanks to Will and the Titleist team for the tickets a bucket list item ticked off and some great memories.

First Titleist Clubs

Hi guys, fairly new around here but have been a fan of Titleist for a while now. I recently picked up a GT2 driver and can say it’s the best driver I have hit! The feel and distance I get is better then any that I have had (and I have tried a lot)

On top in that. I recently picked up the vapour black 2025 T150 irons for a great price! And these are so nice to hit aswell.

I’m not sure why it’s taken me so long to get anything from Titleist but now I realise why people do!

Played at Woodhall Spa the other week and I couldn’t believe the stones in the bunkers on the Hotchin course. They said it is going back to natural way. Well that’s great apart from the damage done to my wedge. Not happy. Has anyone else had the same there or anywhere else?

T250 U 4 Iron

I am looking to get a T250 U 4 Iron to bridge the gap between my T250 5 Iron ½" Long Standard lie True temper AMT Silver Stiff shaft and my GTS 21° 7Wood Mitsubishi 1K Blue 65 Stiff shaft . I have tested the stock shaft Hzrdus Black Gen 5 80HY 6.0 in the T250U but wondering whether a Mitsubishi 1K Blue 75HY would be better suited as I love the feel of these in my new GTS Fairway woods

Scotty Cameron Fitting

I was interested to hear that Ludvig Aberg has been fitted into a Phantom 3.2 which according to social media will shortly be released. However, on checking, I've found out the Titleist don't have fitting days for Scotty Camerons anymore, so there's no way you can try it before you order one.

Considering how professional Titleist fitting days are, I find this hard to believe as you can be fit for balls, wedges, irons and the new GTS range of drivers and woods. Surely this isn't correct, hopefully somebody can enlighten me!

Team Titleist Community Day – Purdis Heath

There’s always a special atmosphere surrounding a Team Titleist Community Day, and our visit to Purdis Heath was no exception.

Members travelled from all corners of the country to come together for another fantastic day of golf, catching up with old friends, meeting new faces and sharing the excitement that makes these events so special. The day started in the traditional fashion, with bacon rolls, coffee and plenty of conversation. Stories from previous events were exchanged, new friendships were formed and everyone looked ahead to the challenge that awaited them.

Of course, there was one subject that dominated the morning discussions: the weather.

We all knew rain was forecast, but like golfers everywhere, we remained hopeful that the forecasters may have been exaggerating. Unfortunately, they weren’t. What started as a drizzle soon became steady rain, which then became the sort of rain that has golfers checking whether their waterproofs are still under warranty. By the end of the day, it was fair to say that everyone had received a thorough testing of their wet-weather gear.

Thankfully, the welcome from Purdis Heath more than compensated for the grey skies. From the moment we arrived, the club made everyone feel incredibly welcome. The Head Professional took time to speak with the group, sharing how well the course was playing following its recent hosting of the Senior PGA Open and highlighting the fantastic condition in which it had been presented. His enthusiasm for the course was infectious and only added to the anticipation of getting out there.

The catering team were equally impressive throughout the day. Friendly, welcoming and always happy to help, they ensured everyone was well looked after and provided a welcome retreat whenever players returned to the clubhouse a little wetter than when they had left.

The competition itself was a Stableford event, bringing together golfers of all abilities. Whether low handicappers chasing every point or higher handicappers looking to put together a memorable round, there was plenty to play for throughout the field. Additional competitions, including Longest Drive, Nearest the Pin and Best Approach, ensured that everyone had an opportunity to compete for a prize and enjoy a moment in the spotlight.

As for the course itself, Purdis Heath was simply outstanding.

Having recently hosted the Senior PGA Open, the course was presented in superb condition. The tee boxes were immaculate, the fairways looked pristine and the greens rolled beautifully despite the relentless rain throughout the day. Every hole offered its own unique challenge, while several provided stunning views from the tee that reminded everyone why Purdis Heath enjoys such a highly regarded reputation.

Perhaps the most impressive aspect was how well the course stood up to the weather. While umbrellas were working overtime and waterproof manufacturers were undoubtedly receiving some excellent publicity, the course remained a pleasure to play from first tee to final green.

The prize presentation rounded off the day perfectly, celebrating some excellent golf played in difficult conditions. The standout performance came from Simon Smith, who produced a remarkable finish when it mattered most. Knowing every point could prove crucial, Simon signed off in spectacular style with birdies on each of his final three holes. The late surge proved enough to secure victory by a single Stableford point and provided a fitting climax to a closely contested competition.

As if a fantastic day’s golf wasn’t enough, the raffle once again proved to be one of the highlights of the event. In fact, this year’s prize table was arguably the best we’ve seen at a Team Titleist Community Day.

There was an incredible selection of prizes available, including a GTS 3 Wood, a round for two at the St Andrews Castle Course and a two-ball at Princes Golf Club. With prizes of that calibre on offer, there were plenty of hopeful faces as the winning tickets were drawn.

The headline prize was a full Tour Fitting at TPC Woburn, and in a wonderful twist, the lucky winner was attending his very first Team Titleist Community Day. Not a bad way to introduce yourself to the community and proof that sometimes a raffle ticket really can change your day.

A huge thank you must also go to Will Sutton for attending and supporting the event. It was fantastic to have him with us and, true to form, he generously added even more prizes to an already impressive raffle table. The support that Will continues to show the Team Titleist community is greatly appreciated by everyone involved, and events like these are all the better for it. Thank you, Will.

As always, the day finished with smiles, stories and plenty of laughs about missed putts, unfortunate bounces and miraculous recoveries that seemed to improve with every retelling.

At its heart, Team Titleist is about far more than golf. It’s about friendships, shared experiences and bringing together people who simply love the game. Days like this are a perfect reminder of what makes the community so special.

Rain or shine—or, in this case, mostly rain—it was another memorable Team Titleist Community Day. We may have left Purdis Heath a little wetter than we arrived, but we also left with great memories, new friendships and plenty of stories to tell until the next event comes around.

England Golf / Ladies European Tour Access Series Pro Am

New GTS driver fitting

Wow where to start, the wait is finally over, the GTS is here!

On Thursday I was very lucky to get my GTS driver and 3 wood fitting at Craigielaw Titleist Scotland with Graeme Noblett. If you haven’t been, it really is a must for any Titleist enthusiast/ player or gamer. Big G goes above and beyond giving you the best experience and helping you get the most out of your time there with all the Titleist clubs.

Big G starts with what do you know about GTS?? I say I’ve watched a few videos and clips from the Titleist page/forum. He pulls out a metal box, opens it up and shows me the new GTS in two half’s, we then talk about the changes from GT and what R&D have done to make the GTS, how they have changed design, materials and new upgraded specs, split mass, speed sync face and duel weights, etc. It’s all very technical and interesting.

Next up was hitting a few shots with my current GT2 driver set up after a good warm up. Couple of good shots, couple of not so good shots, but more than enough to get a good base to start. So first up we start with the GTS4 same set up as my GT2 on my current Hzrdus black x stiff shaft. 10 shots or so and results are in, no real improvement over my current set up. Big G then changes the head over to GTS3. Same again 10 shots or so and we have enough to compare data. GTS3 was slightly better but still not good enough to consider swapping/ upgrading. Then Big G says it’s time for the main event haha He swaps the GTS2 head on and gives me the club back, after a couple of shots, I start seeing even more improvement, further and tighter dispersion. Big G takes the club back again and start tweaking / changing stuff, not telling me what yet. I hit a few more shots and wow, I’m seeing faster ball speed swing speed, higher ball flight, less spin numbers, everything working and helping my swing. Once again Big G makes another wee change to the club and hand me it back. Once again I hit a few more balls and wow I’m blown away with the shots! Big G says I’ve been fitting you for a number of years Douglas and I can safely say this is the best I’ve seen you hit driver! I speechless nod my head laugh and say this is coming home with me now lol

We then go through the whole process again with the 3 wood and get the same results. Safe to say R&D Titleist have went above and beyond and delivered an unbelievable club ready for all golfers to produce big bombs! Hope everyone has an amazing time/ fitting as well. GTS get in my bag! ️‍♂️

Evening. Is anybody else having problems with the late delivery of orders from Titleist, or am I just unlucky? I made the decision to replace my 4 hybrid with a 7 wood. My club pro placed the order at the end of March for a GT2 7 wood, and I still haven't received the club. At this rate the GTS range will be on the shelves before I receive mine!!

TT Tour Experience Recap

The Titleist Performance Centre (TPC).
Usually reserved for Tour players, elite amateurs and product testing.

But on Wednesday, three Team Titleist members stepped behind the ropes and onto the pristine turf at Woburn for a taste of life as a pro.

For the second year running, our leadership team opened the doors to Team Titleist. Greg, Matt and Dene were given a unique opportunity to experience a true “day on Tour”. Dialling in their current setups, making performance tweaks, and getting an exclusive look inside the Scotty Cameron Barn.

With the sun shining, Woburn provided the perfect backdrop, arguably at its very best. The day began with a warm welcome and a deep dive into the kind of performance data and insights our team works through with players at the highest level. A full tour of the facility followed, offering a behind-the-scenes look at what makes TPC such a special environment.

Then it was time to get to work.

Each member spent dedicated one-on-one time with our Leadership team:

Long game optimisation with Duncan McNeill - metals and irons
90 minutes of focused wedge play with Will Harvey
Precision putting sessions with Mike Madden

A true Tour-level experience, and one that won’t be forgotten anytime soon. All three TT members went away with different set up changes, all having improved their game in an area they wanted.

A huge thank you to our Leadership team who took time out of their schedules to help bring this day to life for TT. And to Greg, Matt and Dene who embraced the whole experience, it was brilliant to have you join us for the day.

To those that are heading up to Craigielaw next week, see you there! For others, I hope to see you at another event throughout 2026.

Loyalty not rewarded this time?

For the first time in forever I’m disappointed with Titleist. I’ve been really pleased with the enhanced alignment prov1x’s and I find they really help my putting. I have been waiting for the Loyalty Rewarded promotion to come out only to find that the enhanced alignment balls are not included for some reason.

I was considering buying 8 dozen and now I’m not sure what to do. I don’t particularly want to buy the balls if they don’t have the alignment - they don’t cost any more per dozen normally so why haven’t they been included in this?

I’m sorry to say I feel a bit sad today
