Just bookEd my annual BDay trip in December. Usually a buddy and I go to the Pebble Beach Area and golf Poppy Hills and mix in other courses like Pacific Grove and Carmel Valley.

This year I decided I needed to step it up so I booked Spanish Bay, Spyglass Hill and Peeble Beach. I played Spanish Bay five years ago, but I have never play the other two. I feel like a kid counting down the months until Christmas.

Definitely hope your trip happens and you have a great time! That is a bucket list trip for a lot of posters here. I know that's a bucket list trip for me! Fairways and greens!

I hope you have the best time ever.

Playing those three marvellous golf courses with your best friend is priceless.

Sometime you may want to consider joining Dukes Club for $360 per year.
You can only book 30 days out but you get a nice green fee discount.
Spyglass for $240 instead of $415, Spanish Bay for $170 instead of $295, Del Monte for $48 instead of $110. Del Monte will reopen on Oct. 1.
You can bring upto 3 guests for the same Dukes price except for Del Monte.
Usually twice a year Dukes will have deeper discounts for Pebble, Syglass, Spanish Bay not sure if this will happen due to COVID19. The last one is usually mid December into Jan. This year Pebble has been having monthly discounts for Dukes Club and NCGA members with Dukes members getting a little bigger discount and email notification a few days earlier than NCGA.
Dukes Club also includes merchandise discounts at Del Monte, $30 fun bucks for Del Monte Grill. Being a Dukes Club member I also get a free round for myself and a guest every year.

AB- I appreciate the reminder. I heard about the Duke Card a few years ago but I didn’t look into it. I’ll be sure to do that. I’ve been to Linguini Louie’s before and it was awesome. Thank you for all the good info.

Love Spyglass Hill. For fun, cross over into Pacific Grove, play the municipal course, which the back nine is second to none for an older course, then venture into Monterey for lunch at Louie Linguini's. Watch out for the deer roaming the course and the lighthouse is a nice sight. My wife took me to this Seafood place for my birthday in Monterey. Great seafood. Carmel, Pacific Grove, and Monterey all within a few miles. What a beautiful area along the coast.

If you haven't played Pasatiempo, you really ought to consider it. I prefer it to Spanish and Spyglass, it's an hour away.

Hey Bill, I played it last year. It was beautiful. I hope to be back soon.

Taking my wife this weekend to stay at Spanish Bay for her birthday. The weather is supposed to be sunny and in the high 70's which will make outside dining nice.

Came back from our stay at Spanish Bay yesterday afternoon and we had a great time celebrating my wife's birthday. The weather was mid 70's, sunny and no wind.

We had her birthday dinner at The Tap Room which they moved to outside dining next to the new Fairway 1.
So we sat next to the 1st fairway and it was nice and relaxing. I had a rib eye steak that to me was the best that I've ever had and that's saying a lot since we've eaten ate many really good steak houses including Peter Luger, Cut, etc. Here's a few pictures of the 1st fairway and some food.

  13. Pebble is without a doubt one of my favorite courses in the world....if you get the chance go play it! It is worth the cost...IMHO

Somehow I made a boo boo with the pictures.
Should have been from my balcony at Spanish Bay for the first two pics, then from The Tap Room at Fairway 1, the first fairway and some deer and then the rib eye.

Made reservations for the Tap Room for after the round at Spyglass. Thanks for the pics, looks perfect as always.
  17. Did the same 3 for my uncles 50th a couple years ago (played two weeks before the US open). You'll love every minute of it and get ready for Spy, thats a test!

If you're flying into SFO i'd recommend playing Pasatiempo on the way down. That would really round out an amazing trip.
