hey guys this is my second season playing trying to get better to match up with my brothers skill level. I got interested in golf when he took me to the driving range in florida while on vacation. My first season I mostly worked on my grip, stance, and swing. This season I am working on distance and fixing my horrible right slice. I would appreciate any tips, tricks, or even better anyones practices they do while on the range to prepare before heading out to the course.

Hi everyone,

I’m a long-time Ryder Cup obsessive and always wished there was a game that let you be the captain rather than just play the golf.

So over the past few weeks I’ve built Drive for Five – a browser game where you captain either Europe or the USA.

You draft 12 real players from across the modern Ryder Cup era, choose your pairings, manage morale and momentum, and try to win five Ryder Cups in a row. One defeat and the run is over.

It isn’t affiliated with the Ryder Cup in any way—it’s simply an independent fan project.

Only around 1% of players have managed to complete all five cups, so I’m curious to see whether anyone on here can beat it.

I’d genuinely love some honest feedback from fellow Ryder Cup fans—good or bad. If there’s anything that doesn’t feel authentic or could be improved, I’d really appreciate hearing it.

Picked my a new addition to the family yesterday and named him Ryder. I'm trying to get his AKC registered name and wanted to keep in golf-related name. The first name (omitted) will be the breeder:

Other thoughts? He's a standard poodle (10 weeks) and will eventually be 26/28 inches tall and around 70 pounds

Team Titleist events question

Hello all, just looking to get some advice on the Team Titleist events. I played golf for years and I stopped playing in 2015 due to multiple back surgeries. The past 2-3 months I started playing again and have dove deep into the Titleist brand again. I got a full fitting with my local fitter and picked up t250s, gts2 driver and woods and gt2 hybrid and of course a Scotty. Obviously I had to go full titleist gear as well ;). Since I’m just getting back into golf I don’t consider myself good, shooting in the mid 90s. Is it too soon for me to be playing in the Team Titleist events? I don’t really care what I shoot im just out to have a good time and meet people who enjoy the same brand as me. I’m not sure what is expected or what to expect at these events of a player at my skill level. Thanks for the info.

Team Titleist at Black Gold Golf Course – October 1, 2026

Add another event to your Fall golf calendar in Southern California… Team Titleist is headed to Black Gold GC on October 1, 2026. The Arthur Hills designed course with elevation changes and challenging greens offers a variety of shot making opportunities and views of Orange County from high above Yorba Linda.

After recent infrastructure renovations, the course will be back to full length and the new solar covering of the driving range will give us some shade prior to the round. Like last year, we’re hoping Jim Pooler, Titleist Senior Fitter (Instagram: @friendlyfitter), will be available to provide valuable product knowledge of SM11, T Series Irons and especially the new GTS Driver and Woods. Black Gold GC is also a Titleist fitting location when available as well as many other SoCal locations.

Take a mental health day and ‘Come for golf, stay for the relationships’. Our 10am start time will allow for a lot of great interactions. 32 spots available.

Quick question - when I go to book a fitting I see they have these “Titleist fitting events” …. specifically at Hidden Lake. There is no mention of a charge or cost for the fitting.

Are these complimentary fittings? Seems they’re very random and limited space.

This past week, I attended my first Team Titleist event. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to travel to the Dominican Republic and play Teeth of the Dog, and it absolutely lived up to the hype.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but from the moment I arrived, the entire experience was incredible. The hospitality at the resort was top-notch, and it was great meeting so many fellow Team Titleist members. The community is truly amazing, and I had the chance to meet some awesome people throughout the week.

It was a great week spent with great people while playing some incredible golf courses. I'm grateful for the experience and already looking forward to attending many more Team Titleist events in the future.

2026 TT Member-Member Event at The Tree Farm (Event Recap)

In May, Team Titleist members from across the country gathered at The Tree Farm for the inaugural Team Titleist Member-Member. Between the golf, the hospitality, the cabins, the food, and the company, it didn't take long before whispers of "best Team Titleist event ever" began circulating.

Over the course of the weekend, participants enjoyed two rounds of competition on The Tree Farm's acclaimed layout, playing alongside caddies in a two-person best ball format. The event offered plenty of competitive moments, but as is often the case at Team Titleist events, the experience extended well beyond the leaderboard.

As if the golf wasn't enough, the food somehow stole the show. From lobster rolls and fresh ahi to roasted duck, peach cobbler, top-shelf wines, and some of the finest cuts of beef you'll find anywhere, every meal felt like an event unto itself. Pair that with cabin hangs, late-night stories, and golf at Tree Farm, and it's no surprise nobody wanted the weekend to end.

The event also featured exclusive product experiences with guests being among the first golfers to experience New Titleist GTS drivers. We also had New Scotty Cameron OC low-torque putters on the practice greens, and a Vokey Design Par-3 1-Club Shootout, where guests were able to pick any fresh-grooved SM11 wedge of their choice for the challenge.

Following two rounds of competition, Kitae K. and Mike D. emerged as the inaugural Team Titleist Member-Member Champions. The title was decided in a sudden-death shootout, where Kitae nearly jarred his tee shot on the opening hole before Mike rolled in the short birdie putt to seal the win and become the first champions in event history.

While every team arrived hoping to compete, the lasting memories were created through the shared experiences that make Team Titleist events so special: great golf, great people, and a community brought together by a love of the game.

A sincere thank you to everyone who joined us at The Tree Farm and helped make the inaugural Team Titleist Member-Member such a memorable success. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for this newest Team Titleist tradition.
