This putter looks awesome! I would love to get one of these bad ass looking putters.

  2. My H 19 arrived yesterday and it looks even better than the pictures.
The three shades of black on the head are superb, the headcover very classy, the black shaft stunning, even the grip feels nice , although I would have preferred a black matador midsize.
Then we come to the shaft band, well it's just a sticker, even the subtle mirroring of the headcover pattern in the background can't disguise the fact that its just a sticker.
Why no metal shaft band like previous holiday versions, a lovely putter let down by a small detail.

Bummer on the sticker. I love your picture of last year's holiday putter.
  4. Are Scotty Cameron’s really worth the money??

I'd say so. They are unparalleled with feel and looks. I also love them for the sub culture of SC putters and lifestyle.

I would say everything is relative? As a piece of equipment used more than any other in your bag what value do you put on it? No, they are not cheap, but when you roll in a 15 footer on the 18th hole to force a playoff in your semi final match, would you have the same result with a different putter with a different face that does not roll nearly as well?
A putter is a very personal piece of equipment. I putt by feel, and Scotty Camerons are in my opinion the best feeling putters. For me, they give me the best opportunity to win. Period. So yes, in my opinion they are worth the money. Now, headcovers are a different story.

As with many things the law of diminishing returns applies.
It is possible to putt very well with an inexpensive putter.
Scottys are pushing towards golf art especially the limited editions albeit not at the expense of functionality.
They perform well and are a joy to own.
By and large the depreciation in relatively low compared with other golf gear.
Therefore, to me they are worth the money.
Also it is handy that they/he releases a blingy model at Christmas when I am looking for a present and I am willing to spend a little more than normal.
I agree that the headcovers are a different case.
