I was playing a match for my club against another local club. Halfway through the front 9 making conversion, as you do, I asked my opponent if he'd ever had a hole in one. Said he's only witnessed a few never had one himself. Later on in the round we got the the 11th. A long par 3 about 210 yards. One of my mates was on the 13th green which is next to the 11th green. I hit my shot and id thought id would be just on the front edge. The mate is running around with his arms in the air shouting "it gone in". I looked to my opponent, laughted and said "you can add another to you tally of witnessed hole in ones"
