I remember old headcover sets, including 1, 3, 5. Today, I see Driver, FW, and Hybrid and Driver, FW matched sets.

I purchased TSi2 FW 16.5 and 21 at Titleist Thursday. Surprisingly I have better results with the FW 21 than TSi2 HY 21. My new set includes Driver, 16.5, 21, 5-GW, 52, and 58. No more hybrids!

I can buy two distinctively different FW covers but wondered if Titleist will make traditional Driver and two FW cover sets. I ordered two cool Jan Craig FW covers (previously ordered Seamus covers for my former FW and HY) but wondered if companies will ever make traditional sets again. Today, more player sets replace long irons with hybrids creating multiple combinations for Titleist and other companies.

It will be weird having 3 headcovers (not including putter) again.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

The standard headcovers still have the tabs where you can match the loft to that particular club. Agree, when you get into the premium headcovers it can be problematic. I went the different color route to differentiate between my two hybrids. One black and one white.

Does the Titleist hybrid X headcover fit the new TSi2 21* FW? If so, then I’ll get the Titleist Driver, Fairway, Hybrid sets.

I have premium covers but only a 3 wood and hybrids so without having a high lofted fairway wood to test them on, couldn’t say for sure. Sorry, maybe another TT member has tried them.

I don't believe the hybrid head cover millwork on the 21 degree FW. The head of the FW is quite a bit larger thant he head on the hybrid. While it might go on, it's going to be tight fit.

I decided to go with Rose and Fire head covers and bought different looks for my 16.5 degree and 21 degree FW to differentiate them (the 21 matches the Driver head cover), and two different looks for the two hybrids I carry.

A very good question. I have the Premium Titleist hybrid headcovers for my two hybrids and they fit very nicely but personally feel they are designed for Titleist hybrids. I would think about putting FW headcover on the 21* FW for a better fit. Some golf shops carry some of the Titleist headcovers and I might suggest taking the 21* FW into the shop and see how the FW headcover fits. PGA Superstore might be a good start. With respect. =)

I got my new TSi2 4 and 7 woods and the Titleist black leather X headcover fits on the 7 wood! I’m stoked and only have 3 headcovers (not including putter).

I recently purchased the 3 wood and 4 Hybrid. Is titleist using the same headcocer for both. The 3 wood seems awful tight but does display the”15” correctly.
