GTS2 Fitting

Had a driver fitting yesterday at the Titleist Regional Fitting Centre in BC, Canada with Tom, who’s the most knowledgeable fitters I’ve ever met.

Last year I was fit into a GT2 9° with a Tensei 1K Black 75X cut down ½”. Since then, I’ve been taking lessons and making some significant swing changes, so it was time to see what fit me now.

I ended up in a GTS2 10° with a Project X Titan Black 60 6.5 at standard length. The biggest surprise wasn’t more distance—I was still in the 270–290 yard range, with a couple over 300. The biggest gains came from dispersion and getting my spin numbers into a much better window.

What really stood out was the fitting experience itself. Tom spent a lot of time changing weights, explaining how the different CG settings in the GTS2 affected launch, spin, and forgiveness, and why we ended up in the neutral A1 hosel setting compared to the A4 setting on my previous GT2. I left understanding why the changes worked, not just with a new club.

It was a great reminder that fittings aren’t always about chasing more distance. Sometimes it’s about finding the setup that gives you the most confidence and consistency. Looking forward to getting the new driver on the course

Purchased an entire set of new clubs for the first time in 15 years. 4 wedges p-5 T-100 4 T-150 Driver gts3 and a 7 wood.

Driver finally came in yesterday. Rushed to the course for commercial league, no warm up and first swing with the gts3 with the plastic still on and took home the long drive on that hole.

Last week I took home the kp on the par 3 with a hard to hold green on inter club night which is not my best part of my game.

Wedges are spinning back like i have not seen in a long time.

Super happy with the equipment.

Painful warranty process

Hey guys,

I recently purchased a Scotty Cameron 11OC putter - 900.00 retail. Love the putter! I am a huge fan and was a bit of a collector. Anyways, recently I have been dealing with warranty for a replacement headcover - the Velcro has failed already after a few months - never had this issue with other Scotty’s but have had friends that did however. I have been given a complete run around to get the headcover replaced. I don’t quite understand why Titleist would make me go through all this just for a headcover - I provided pictures and clearly own the putter. As an aside, the grip is falling apart too - might just be the new chain link version- a buddy has same putter - he got matador grip instead - no issue with grip or headcover. I am pretty frustrated. The easy fix would have been to just send me a new cover and grip. Thoughts anyone? Losing faith here!

Make clubs for juniors because lots of juniors are trying to get into Golf for a young age to play and there aren’t many good cops out there for juniors

New GTS-2

The new GTS-2 is amazing! I find this a lot more workable that my GT-2. My biggest takeaway is the tighter dispersion, which caused me to hit the ball further. Average drive was about 280, but I ended up with a drive of 323 and another drive of 310. This was during a competitive round.

Does anyone have feedback on the fairway woods?

Gts2 swingweight

Has anyone noticed that the swingweight of an off the rack gts2 is really head heavy? I played a couple rounds with mine and put it on my swingweight scale, it came out to d7 with the project x titan 60 6.0. I thought maybe it was the balance point of the shaft but when I put my ventus black 5s in it only drops to d6. Are these all just that heavy?

GTS2 weights ?

For those who were fit into a GT2S, did your fitter move the weights around during the fitting? If so, what setup did you end up with, and why?

I absolutely love my GT2, but I’ve been thinking about trying something with just a little more forgiveness. Last summer I had a different brand driver with adjustable front and back weights, and when I moved the heavier weight to the back, I noticed a huge increase in forgiveness on my mishits.

That got me wondering about the GT2S. Most of the posts I read are about gaining 2 mph of ball speed or 5 extra yards, but I rarely see anyone talk about how their fitter configured the weights or whether changing the weight setup made a noticeable difference.

I’d love to hear from people who have actually been fit into one. What weight configuration did you end up with, and did it noticeably change the forgiveness or consistency?

Any hickory club collectors out there? I picked up this gem for $3 at a Goodwill story in suburban Atlanta today. AI research tells me it's legit. H&B Powerbilt model 47 with Reg. 4780 on the sole. GTS2 Driver Playability

So I had the TSR3, loved it and still do! Went to fitting when GT line launched and my numbers weren’t as good so I stuck with TSR. Went to fitting with new GTS line and was fit into GTS2 9* head with Ventus Black 6X. Love the feel but I am struggling working the ball. When I try to fade/draw it just wants to go straight. Anyone else experiencing this?

Well, after much trying different combos, my Titleist fitter, Adam Lash and I finally got the iron and wedge set for me. Titleist T350's with KBS Max shafts and Vokey SM11's, 54S and 58M with AMC Red 65 shafts. It's a sweet set. Adam's a great guy and fitter. If you live in the St. Lucie, Martin and Palm Beach County, Florida area, look up Adam Lash. You'll be glad you did.

TSR2 replacement for714 AP2 4 iron

GTS2 fitting over the weekend

Yup - got fit for the GTS2 this weekend. Went from the GT3 to the GTS2. Kept the exact same shaft. The consistency on that thing was pretty stunning. The heavier weight in the back really made a big impact on my ball flight. My miss is a low spinning toe ball that goes left quick, along with a lower spinning GT3 and we were making things go from bad to worse on those mishits. With the GTS2, the spin numbers on that miss were much higher (from 1600 to 2200 ish) allowed that ball to stay in the air and not go offline as quickly. The whole thing just felt effortless.

My only question is if the 3 week shipping time is accurate or if it's a little longer.

GTS2 Driver- First Round Report

Played my first round with the new GTS2 Driver today and had to come sing its praises. I can't remember ever having a round with a positive shots gained, but according to Arccos my shots gained was +1.4 and my driving was equivalent to a +2 handicap. I am a 10 handicap and these numbers are not something I am familiar with. My biggest issue is typical penalty shots off the tee and I only lost one ball yesterday and that was because I came up short into a creek on a wedge shot. I am so excited to see what this does for my game. Not to mention I have gained about 8-10 yards from my previous driver.

Titleist utility irons 2019 - 2025 review

Which titleist utility irons are very forgiving? I still have a 2019 u510 4- iron with a hzrdus graphite shaft in my golf bag and rarely play a hybrid anymore. 3 and a 7 Wood is in play.

What about the newer Titleist utility irons from 2021 to 2025? Are they more forgiving, longer and a really upgrade?

Aftermarket shaft in a 280 mini driver

I have been tinkering with my driver and mini driver. I have a GT3 8' head that my fitter put me in a Denali Blue 6.0 60g shaft. My GT280 was fit with a Denali Blue 6.0 70g shaft. Both stock playing length.

I have been tinkering with a Newton Motion 5 dot at standard length in my driver and my admit I like it.

If I wanted to try the same shaft in my mini driver, I assume I need a Newton Motion fairway shaft uncut and trim to the proper length?

710CB vs. ?

Hello fellow Titleist gearheads,

I have a nice throwback for you all. I'm currently gaming a set of Titleist 710CBs that are very very worn down. They were handmedowns a number of years ago and were beat even back then. I've gone through fittings, tried new sets and builds, and find myself continuing to come back to these as the dispersion/ball flight is always better than anything else I've tried or was fit into over the years. I've purchased and sold a number of iron sets over the past 6 or 7 years (rogue pro/T150/S-3, project x rifle shafts, DG120 X100, etc.) and have just always come back to my 710s. They have S300 shafts. The face and grooves are seasoned at this point, the "cool" rust circle on the faces and basically no groove left. What do you guys think is comparable to the 710? 620CB has always been intriguing but every fitter or store employee I mention them to instantly shames the question and shuts it out. How far off are T100?

I know a fitting is the answer, but from my past fitting experiences it just hasn't been it. Maybe they were bad fits, maybe not, but performance speaks for itself which is why I keep coming back to a 15 year old iron. At this point I'm hesitant to play anything other than what matches the same profile as these 710s (shaft included). Every set I've been "fit" into all ended up being overdraw/left machines (upright, longer length) and the left side of the course is hardly ever in play with the old faithfuls. My 710s are standard everything but I know you're supposed to "trust" the fit.

Sadly, finding a mint set of the 710s is basically impossible or else I would just go that route at this point.

Just talking out loud here, curious as to what you guys think.

I use a set of titelist 755s from 2006. The shaft is the x400, and the set makeup is 4-pw . I carry my 7i about 155 yards, and was wondering, will I gain distance and consistency? I’m a 13 handicap at the moment and a varsity golfer.

I just received my new Titleist driver in the mail and it has a regular flex shaft on it. I ordered it off the website and I guess I must’ve clicked regular flex by accident. It was supposed to be extra stiff. What’s the process to get the correct shaft?

Is there a way to order a custom shaft through Titleist that isn't one of their shaft options on the website? I'm looking for a Nippon NS Pro 850GH Neo. They offer the 750 Neo and the 950 Neo as shaft options on the website but not the 850 Neo for some reason.
