I know there is the checkbox to include the wrench. My last driver fitting (this one actually improved the archer…) I had the fitter deselect the wrench after he added it. Contacting your country’s Customer Service should have a quick resolution.
I don’t know if the Cally or TM wrenches have a click when adequately torqued or if they use the same torque amount. But they do use the 25 Torx bit.
Apple has far more repeat customers than new customers. It makes sense to not include them, but I think they charge to get one. Titleist wrenches are free of charge on request. Not sure if the stores get some wrenches for off the rack sales. Custom orders should be asked as part of the sales process. Not the customer’s responsibility.

RE: Adjustment Tool

Still have mine from my 910 driver, which came in a nice carrying case. If you are a customer where you purchase your drivers/fairways/hybrids most loyalists likely have one or two over the years. Most all brands are interchangeable now. Titleist and accounts do not hand them out freely as they use to, because most customers already have them. Alot go on eBay for sale, up to $30, asking price. Makes sense to me, not just handing them out carte blanche. Go by any Titleist account and ask for one. I have one in each of my three Titleist bags.

RE: Adjustment Tool

Don't really know where I should post this question. The question is however related to the adjust ment wrench for Surefit.

As a matter of great interest, what exactly is the default specification torque setting on this wrench. The units used are either Newton-meters (Nm) or pound-feet (lb-ft) in old money.

I'm just wondering if I've got an alternative torque wrench in my toolbox.

RE: Adjustment Tool

I suppose it's possible that the tool could have gone with the old club when it was sold on or traded.

They know that Titleist doesn’t put the tool in the box automatically. They know all it takes is a quick check of the box to get one included. If you bought them in-person they likely have a dozen or more at the shop and the simple question is, “Sir, do you need the adjustment tool?”

Likely poor customer service on the part of the retailer, not any level of arrogance from Titleist at all.

RE: Adjustment Tool

Try calling Customer Service. For Titleist and any other OEMs to not include an adjustment tool with each purchase can we a way to cut costs as well.

As others stated and you mentioned as well, you've received an adjustment tool with previous purchases. They are all the same tool (except srxn), so borrow a buddies, ask the pro shop, etc. whenever you need to make an adjustment. To be honest, most consumers do not make any adjustments to their clubs after they purchase them. They might tweak them here and there, but it doesn't change much. That's why it's important to get fitted and then the fitter will set the adjustments for you and you play it as is. Even professional golfers don't tinker that much.

When reselling the clubs, it's nice to have the adjustment tool, but it doesn't lower the value of the club (if it doesn't come with the adjustment tool).

Titleist doesn't owe their customers anything. All we can expect from Titleist is that they continue to make a great product that performs. Anything extra, like adjustment tools and TT swag, that's just going above and beyond.

RE: Adjustment Tool

Your dealer can get one N/C for you. I agree that I should have received a tool, however this didn’t happen. Yes, I have purchased numerous drivers, fairway woods and hybrids over the past 20 years and yes I have had numerous adjustment tools. When I sold these old clubs however, I sold the tool with the club as I believe I had an obligation to enable the new owner to optimise all of the clubs features - and I made the naive assumption that I would receive a new tool with the new club.

RE: Adjustment Tool

I sold the adjustment tools with the old woods as I wanted the new owner to have the ability to utilise the clubs features. Forgot to ask, but when I went back, they just gave me one (I guess it was the least they and Titleist could do after spending $600+ on a driver).

I later ordered a TSR Fairway 15 degree online from PGA Tour Superstore, and no adjustment tool in the box.

I understand some other comments about everyone having them, etc. (basically the same argument Apple and others make to not include chargers anymore with their phones). But if I sell or give away my drivers, fairways, etc. with the tool, then I would need one with any new driver/fairways I buy from Titleist (or any manufacturer for that matter).

RE: Adjustment Tool

For me TSI2 fairways - I got one with each as well.

RE: Adjustment Tool

They always give an adjustment tool with the Driver, but no longer with the Fairway woods.
