I'm 5' 7" tall got T-300 fitting could not hit the stock steel shafts at all did not even feel good. Went through some other shafts then finally got to the graphite shafts and they had a great feel to them and ball was flying good. Ended up with 1/2 longer and clubs 2% flat works great for me. I would have never thought that a longer shaft for me would ever be what I needed but it works and the feel is great for me.
P.S. I might have to go get fitted for the 2021 T-300's and see what they do....

Be sure and check out the fitter. Years experience and that they are certified. A lot of so called fitters at big box stores are nothing more that a retail clerk. But on the other hand some have the needed experience and have the credentials. Your money and your clubs, you want them right.

Yep, definitely get fitted. Between swing changes and age, my latest fitting was significantly different. While I've had 1" over clubs for as long as I can remember, I went from 1* degree upright to 4* along with a stiffness change (6.5 to 6.0) and from a low kick to mid. I would always recommend going into a new fitting with an open mind, things will change from expectations.

Listen to these guys. I'm the same way. Get fitted! Titleist or their retailers are only happy to do it and it doesn't take much time. Like above, things can change the way the club is and the way you're swinging based on your body and changes

I'm 6'0 - 12 years ago I was playing 1/4" longer 2 degrees up, 6 years ago I was playing standard length & lie,

In 2020 I was fitted for 1/2" longer & 2 degrees up. I get fitted for all my clubs based on what is going on at that moment & what the numbers are telling us.

So like what others have mentioned I would seek out a Titleist Professional fitter and make sure you get into the right setup for you & your swing.

I even ended up back in a stiff shaft in 2020 after playing regular flex 716 AP1's for 6 years.

Height alone is not really sufficient to determine ideal iron length.

Longer iron shafts will increase club head speed, giving you the potential for more distance. Could also help you hit the ball higher with a greater angle of descent for stopping power on the green.

However, you would need to be able to maintain your contact. For most people longer clubs are more difficult to hit and its harder to find the center of the clubface. Its easy to drop the efficiency and lose distance gains from a slight mishit so be careful.

That's where a fitting is important. Some tall players have long arms and play a bit bent over while others may have shorter arms and play with a higher hand swing. You really need to get fit to your overall proportions and swing tendencies. Club length also impacts lie angle so that is important to factor into the fitting.
