Ball flight differences TMB / CB

    Hi all

    I currently play 718 cb 4 - PW and have a 3 iron tmb in the same specs

    I love the ball flight on the CB 4 iron but put the tmb 3 iron in the bag for a more forgiving option

    For me the T-MB ball flight is too flat compared to the CB. It's great in the wind but I'm after a ball flight that rises like the CB

    Would the AP2 have a more similar ball flight to the CB whilst providing a bit more forgiveness???

    Have you thought about a different shaft for the TMB ... for me CB had way higher spin on Trackman with both AP2 and TMB. That may be why your getting that ball flight you like. Not sure AP2 would launch the same.

    I wish I had the two to compare and give my thoughts. I'm very interested in what you find out. I've been using a T-MB/CB combo set for the last few sets and I currently have 3-6 T-MB and 7-PW CB but I struggle at times on how I feel about them because they are soooo incredibly different. My game is the best it has ever been, but I know that even though I love my irons, I could have a set that fits better. Maybe it's because I'm a tinkerer, but would love to be sure. I wish fitters had more clubs to fit with, like the low irons. That would be so much better.
