Hey Ben, I took a look at the Club Specs and here is my suggestion. Not sure what wedges you play but I would move all of your AP2's 1 degree strong and then the AP3 6 Iron 1 degree weak. This would give you 4 degree gaps all the way from your PW to your 5 Iron.

Interesting with adding another 7 iron to the mix. I think bending them might be the way to go. Thanks for the input, I appreciate it!!

Bending each would bring the gaps much closer together and solve that problem, but will it create too big of a gap between your 5 and 6 or your 7 and 8? Looking at the spec sheet, it really looks like you're missing a full club in there. I would add the AP3 7 iron or AP2 6 iron and maybe adjust somewhere else in your bag.

I have the same problem. I solved it by playing and AP2 7i AND an AP3 7i, (plus AP3 6i and 5i). It made a bit of an issue at the top of my bag, but have figured out an acceptable solution by removing a 21* 816 hybrid (set at 22*) and my 915 5W, and replacing both with a 19* 818 hybrid, set to 20*. The gaps between 5i and 3W are a touch bigger than I would like, but much smaller than had I removed one of the two 7 irons.

Thanks for the feedback. Kurtis to answer your question, my biggest issue is between my 7 Iron which is an AP2 and 6 Iron AP3. Its between 20 to 25 yrds. It's also in the range of 160 to 185yrd which is not the best to have such a big gap in.

If you do the math, a 4’ gap equals about 12-14 yards between clubs, so I’m thinking that 1 degree change should make a 3-4 yard difference each way. What is your current yardage gap between clubs?

It depends on what your distance gaps are between your clubs. For me I figure 12 yards between each of my Irons that have 4 degree gaps, so one degree for me = 3 Yards. Also you can bend your AP2's 2 degrees no problem.

To me not noticable difference, but knowing they are gapping "correctly" makes me feel better. Its all mental to me. I know i know...

I believe changing the loft on your clubs will alter distance 2-4 yds for each degree that is altered.
