On the top it simply reads Titleist in black. There is a black plastic cap at the bottom

Re: vintage driver

It sounds like you may have one of the Titleist DTR midsize metals. These were produced from 1992-1994. Here were the benefits of this club at the time of its release:

Titleist DTR midsize metals offer outstanding distance and accuracy, particularly for those golfers who need help getting the ball airborne. Titleist perimeter weighted metals are designed to transfer maximum energy from the clubhead to the ball for outstanding distance and accuracy. Perimeter weighting offers an expanded effective hitting area for longer distance and better feel. Distributing the mass along the outside of the clubhead also reduces twisting on off-center hits, promoting more accurate shots. By concentrating mass in the sole, the center of gravity is lowered and drawn back from the face, making it easier to get the ball airborne.

You may continue to play this club as long as it works for you! However, if something were to damage the head we would be unable to build a replacement as we no longer carry components for this model.

Thanks,
